Army Post Office addresses for Army and Air Force personnel stationed overseas are fully supported. Include your full APO address with your request.
Fleet Post Office addresses for Navy and Marine Corps personnel accepted worldwide. We ship to ships, bases, and forward operating locations.
Diplomatic Post Office addresses for personnel stationed at US embassies and diplomatic facilities are also accepted.
Is there really no cost to me?
Correct — there is absolutely no cost to the service member. Books for Troops covers all shipping through donor funding. The books are a gift to you.
Do I have to return the books?
No. The books are yours to keep, share with fellow service members, or pass along. There is no return requirement.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary by location and military mail conditions. APO/FPO/DPO shipping typically takes 2–6 weeks. We process requests as quickly as our volunteers are able.
How many books can I request?

Our catalog reflects what is available in our Florida library. With 20,000+ titles there is a great chance you will find something you love — browse by genre or subject.
